Deleting your data

How to remove a connected account, individual content, or your whole SocialRoute account.

Last updated July 21, 2026

1. Your options

You can remove your data at three levels: a single connected social account, individual content, or your entire account. Each is described below.

2. Disconnect a social account

This is immediate and you can do it yourself:

  1. Open the project in your dashboard and click Publish in the toolbar.
  2. Click the bin icon next to the account you want to remove.
  3. The stored access token is deleted straight away, and we can no longer publish to that account.

You can also revoke access from the network's side. On Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, then remove SocialRoute. On LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.

3. Delete individual content

Anything you created can be deleted in the app:

  • Deleting a post removes it and its publishing history from SocialRoute. It does not retract a post already live on a social network — remove that on the network itself.
  • Deleting a project removes its posts, goals, share links and connected accounts along with it.

4. Delete your whole account

To erase your account and everything in it, send us a request from Settings → Support while signed in, or email privacy-socialroute@lazaarworks.com from the address on your account. We will:

  • verify the request comes from the account holder;
  • delete your profile, projects, posts, images, goals, comments, connected accounts and stored tokens, vault secrets, notifications and support history;
  • cancel any active subscription;
  • complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm to you when it is done.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account once it is erased.

5. What we keep, and why

After deletion we retain only:

  • invoices and payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires;
  • a minimal record that the account existed, to prevent abuse and to honour the deletion itself.

6. For Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

This page is SocialRoute's data deletion instructions URL. Following any of the routes above removes all data we obtained from Meta.

That means the page and Instagram account IDs, their display names, the permissions granted, the encrypted access token, and the log of posts we published on your behalf.
